The Solar Decathlon is an international contest created by the United States Department of Energy. Universities around the world are coming together to design, build and operate a solar energy powered and connected house.
The first Solar Decathlon took place in 2002 and other editions were held in different locations, including the United States, Europe and China. The 2018 edition was held in Dubai.
We were partners of the team formed by students from France, Palestine and United Arab Emirates: “The Baitykool Project”, presented at Solar Decathlon Middle East 2018.
This project has been selected and has won several awards, including 2 next podiums with our product, Barrisol Clim® :
- 1st in Sustainability
- 1st in Energy Efficiency
