FAQ - Barrisol Clim® Featuring Carrier® Products Ceilings

Is there a risk of condensation when blowing cold air at high power in the plenum ?

In order to prevent any risk of condensation of the stretched ceiling, the average temperature must always remain higher than the dew point (surface temperature allowing the occurrence of condensation).

To do this, the minimum admissible temperature of the air blown into the plenum in heating mode (Tsr), dependent on the indoor temperature Ti of the room and the hygrometry H%, is given in the curve below.

In order to check compliance with the minimum temperature of air blowing in the plenum, a calculation of the real blowing temperature (according to the  technical characteristics of the heating production system) is carried out during the Barrisol Clim® feasibility studies.
